I graduated from the University of Denver with a Master of Applied Science in information and communications technology. This program explored the complex relationship between print and web-based content, information technology, and business management, along with traditional language and usability research. My master’s thesis analyzed the growing impact of social networking on small businesses.
Prior to attending the University of Denver, I received a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Science in technical communication from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. My English degree concentrated on creative writing and poetry, while my technical communication degree focused on technical writing and editing.
I am a co-coordinator for the Chicago chapter of the Editorial Freelancers Association. If you are an editor, writer, or other publishing professional in the Chicagoland area and are interested in learning about our upcoming events, please feel free to contact me. In addition to the Editorial Freelancers Association, I am a member of the Chicago Women in Publishing.
When I’m not editing or writing, I enjoy exploring Chicago with my husband and visiting family and friends throughout Illinois.
